I called P.Z Myers a pedant
['pednt] noun a person who is excessively concerned with minor details and rules or with displaying academic learning.
Jodi Wilgoren is an idiot.

Miller defended herself in the same terms last year, but she and Wilgoren represent the perverse outcome of Myer's ideal. Judgment is necessary only because ambiguity exists. Myers' disdain for ambiguity and the reporters' unwillingness to accept anything else are two sides of the same coin.

To take creationist concerns seriously is not to take creationist science seriously. That's ambiguity kids, and none of them gets it.
Myer's arrogance, Miller and Wilgoren's cowardice and evangelical anger all reinforce each other.

Again, a country of puritans and drunks.
